Yesterday, Matt gave us the brief about a modelling project called triple S (Sword & Shield). I already have a very good idea of what I want to do with this project and I hope to make these my models thus far.
Stage 1 of the pre-planning stage is moodboards which I made yesterday for both the sword and shield (to give me more choices on what I wanted to do even though I already knew what I wanted to do . For the sword, I instantly thought about the idea of having both the sword and the shield support the steampunk theme. However I have been thinking and I might slightly deviate away from the sword aspect and go for a more hammer or axe as you can see in my reference photos below.
As you can see, I have gathered reference from various swords. I’ll be combining ideas from certain weapons to make up the final product rather than just using one.
